Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an application that allows you to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop uses.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate around rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are essential in my house, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we've test so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic vacuum and mop robot mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad as it moves from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuum and mops. If you can afford the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. Additionally, its mops aren't as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are bought separately will need to be replaced periodically too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot hoover, and it receives a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning products.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map the area and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot vacuum with mop that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum mop cleaner robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
