Its mopping functionality is also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also has a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

In addition in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the price we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line mop and robot vacuum. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed admirably across the home. It removed 98.4% debris on any type of floor and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. In addition it's not as efficient in removing stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out, and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're looking to save money I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It must be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own choice of cleaners.

Like many robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

This machine has one major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
