WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item upgrading that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will display an image of the item when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the item slot, and the current item upgrades level. For instance weapons cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an item level upgrade (Maps.google.Com.tr) has been upgraded to a certain amount it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items which include the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining a new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the start, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. Instead the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades must be acquired through a variety of means that are both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3, many new features have been added to the upgrade system. When a player has an upgrade to a particular level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading further items to that same item level will cost less even when they are part of an entirely different set of gear.

The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain achievement milestones.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a variety of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specialized and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are a crucial component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that Crests are only available to gear of a certain rank. Each rank comes with distinct upgrade paths. The most basic and straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complex can require as much as 20 crests, based on the type of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by finishing content at the appropriate level, whether that means walking around and doing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, dungeons or raids of all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons for endgame gear. The crests can then be exchanged with an upgrader for the item, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and paths.

The use of these currencies isn't too complicated, but the system does introduce some changes to the overall upgrade process. For instance, when an item is at the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest level possible for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests have one use therefore it's essential to use them wisely. For instance it's best to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the best gear you have available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you plan to make. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to benefit from the account-wide discount when all of the slots are filled with top-quality gear.
