WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an Item Upgrader Kit by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item upgrades level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using the help of button, which will display a preview of the item when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the item slot, and the current item upgrader mod level. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain degree, it can be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currency types.

In Season 3, a number of new features have been added to the upgrade system. After a player has earned an upgrade to a specific level of an item for a specific armor slot, upgrading additional items to that level will cost less even if they are part of another set of gear.

The discount applies to all accounts. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players achieve certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a few options. Flightstones are an item that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special and are utilized during specific upgrades to the level of an item. Crests are a crucial element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

It's also important to use crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. It is best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear that you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
