What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash upgrade items windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to buy upgrades.

When an item is upgraded, its type of base changes. Upgrades to a normal item produce an Exceptional version, while upgrades to an Exceptional model create an Elite. The item will keep its previous upgrade stats, but will gain an extra bonus of its new base type. The bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon with a greater damage range, a faster speed of reloading, or an increased max defense roll.

The amount of extras that you gain with an upgrade depends on the number of upgrades done. Each upgrade boosts the extras in question by an increment of 1 up to a maximum value of 3. Additionally, every upgrade will also boost the main stat by one.

In addition to the stat increases Certain upgrades can give a random secondary boost. These boosts are useful and should be taken into consideration when deciding on which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are only beneficial in certain builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others can provide significant value to specific collectors.

Some items come with built-in boos that is not effective when upgraded. For example the Goldwrap provides extra slots for potion. These are often upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades come with some associated costs. The first is the cost for the upgrade. The cost is based on the new level of the item and the amount of perks it receives and can be costly. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.

The second is the cost of items needed to upgrade. These are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. The amount of these items required is available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

Upgrading an item is complicated and requires time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade item, it can take as long as 8 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated using the item's new ilvl bonus, perks, as well as other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases, the upgrade will grant additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available perks.

Rarely, the benefits obtained will cost more than one perk slot In these instances the upgrade will replace the highest-cost perks. Success Rate

The Upgrade Pity is available from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of an upgrade succeeding by a certain percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that some items offer, but it is more solid. It can be added to any weapon or armor and is used three times.

You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. They are displayed in a separate window, above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is displayed directly above the + button in the user interface.

Another way to increase the chance of an upgrade succeeding is by using the item known as a Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is helpful in the event that you have an item or weapon gear that has reached the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. It will let you upgrade that piece of gear to the next level without worrying about breaking.

If an upgrade fails, it will be reverted to its previous state. This is usually a break, but could also be a downgrade. Save an upgrade until you're close to the highest level for an item.

There are a variety of items available in the Kafra shop that can be used to improve the odds of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase your chances of success by upgrading your equipment multiple times with HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The rate of success will be increased if you increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.

Failure Rate

The upgrader of an item allows the player to add an additional card slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to keep in mind that not all items are upgradeable. The rate of upgrade and enchantment is based on the item's rank. The higher the rank, the more zeny and items you'll require to upgrade it.

The system is expensive, especially if you are looking for high-level gear. It can cost upwards of 100,000 Z and 100 Carnium to upgrade an armor or weapon. As you rise in rank, your chance of success decreases. You can increase the chances of upgrading an item by making use of cash shop items.
