The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It is smaller than other models and makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners or under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides one of my top navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum mop cleaner robot. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery in mid-clean.

It's extremely efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in one go. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, but not by much. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which can be helpful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can also be employed to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's easy to install and works well, but this is something you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with a powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the house and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean efficiently and methodically. This will ensure an efficient and consistent cleaning, while also being relatively rapid.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can be used to reach many different surface areas. This includes baseboards, corners and other difficult to reach places. The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it comes with some distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its enormous dock which serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a cleaning sink, and the 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognising objects.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets caught in a hazard like the power cable that is draped over a rug. It won't work until you remove it manually. Although this is not a common occurrence, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert in its application.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning robot mop and vacuum session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad isn't washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
