Simple to use

This basic, black Nespresso machine is simple to operate and maintain. It is minimalist in its straightforward design and just one button at the top that controls powering, rinsing, the brewing process and more. Take off the lid, put a capsule in and click to start the brewing. It heats up quickly and provides a range of beverage options, including a double espresso, or five, 8- or 18-ounce coffees. It even comes with a steaming wand, perfect for making a delicious milk texture for your drinks. We love the small design and easy-to-use interface, however, we noticed that the machine doesn't make as strong a cup of espresso or coffee as some of the more expensive models. It's also not as easy to recycle the capsules as some other machines we've tested. This Nespresso was not the top choice in our side-by-side test due to these reasons.

Quick to make a cup of tea
