It can even return to the dock to top up its battery halfway through cleaning.

It is very fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as good. The rotating mop spins at a high rate and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily cleaning up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is helpful to get into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot cleaner mop and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping and is sold separately from the autonomous vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum solely to mop it is important to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

It is important to remember that the device is subject to regular expenses, such as mopping supplies as well as regular maintenance. It was fairly quiet and had some pleasant jingles that signalled when it was about to start or completing its task.

Its biggest drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the necessity to change out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app doesn't have the capacity to hold multiple maps, which can be a hassle if you have a home with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for a smart robot that can perform both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, but it comes with some distinctive features that make it worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock that serves as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two water tanks, a cleaning sink and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

Another potential downside is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad however, the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a big contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
