Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item upgrade like an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing its damage.

Players can roll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an Best item upgrade that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can select the upgrade item button to apply the Growth Stones to the Best item upgrader. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.

Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used and a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade item. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. When a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an Item upgrader kit is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.

Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get a perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
