Three Wheeled Buggies

Its tyres (which are inflatable and require occasional pumping) come with suspension built-in which was extremely comfortable for my kids.

The shape and size of the seat is another aspect to think about. It should be large enough for your child's comfort. You will also want it to be able to recline so that they can lie flat. Some three-wheel buggies have a lie-flat option that allows the child to face you, while others only permit a parent-facing option.

A great choice for tackling off-road and muddy walks is the Roma Atlas. Many three wheeled buggies have the front wheels that swivel to help you navigate around corners with ease, whereas others are designed for running and have fixed front wheels that lock to increase the speed and stability with which they can be driven. This can also help if you bump into a tree root or stray kerb as the front wheel will lift up to keep you from hitting it.

A majority of 3 wheeled pushchairs have air-filled tyres which allow them to handle a wide range of terrains. They are also more flexible than 4 wheelers. They also tend to be lighter. They are more prone to punctures, so you will need to have repair kits and an spare inner tube on hand.

Both of these buggies come with larger wheels that, as per MFM reviewer Kath, "perform really well on grass, gravel tracks and market town cobbles" and are able to effortlessly go up and down kerbs. They also have a suspension system that in her words "smoothes out bumps with great efficiency".

The drawback of having larger wheels is that they make some buggies quite broad and make it difficult to get through narrow spaces. This is a problem especially if you're using it to an exercise bike or to be able to get through narrow doorways when out and about. The majority of models come with compact folding options that let you remove the front wheels and store them more compactly.

Easy to Manoeuvre

One of the primary benefits to a three wheel buggy is that it can be much easier to maneuver especially with a child in tow. The way they are constructed means that the front wheels spin on a dime and are incredibly easy to manoeuvre, making them ideal for difficult terrain like cobbles, parks and bumpy pavements as well as dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried out a three wheel pushchairs-wheeler with her toddler and newborn and said: "The Terrain was a pleasure to maneuver over tough ground and the swivel front wheel being especially helpful. I was also impressed with how well it handled kerbs with the hand-operated break. I found it extremely steady when I was driving downhill or over uneven terrain."

The only drawback to this amazing maneuverability is that the 3 wheel stroller set wheel buggy's bigger wheels sometimes mean it has to struggle in tight spaces - something to consider when you live in a metropolitan region. If this is a problem then a 4-wheel buggy may be a better choice for you.
