The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it has received praise from its customers. It's extremely light-weight with the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg. It's extremely easy to put together. In fact, I was able to put it up and running in just five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a nice wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is very easy to operate. There's plenty of room in the basket too and I like the fact that it has an open-top pocket on the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone safe!

The handlebar is a bit low, which can be a problem for parents who are taller. However, it's encased in a gorgeous leather-like material that's soft and comfy and wipes down easily, making it still easy to push even with bags and children on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for active parents who are eager to get outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field paths, and the front 3 wheel stroller brands can be swivelled and locked for extra versatility. The stroller also features 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child safe on every trip. The parking brake will keep the stroller stationary as you take a break. The comfy seat is easy to adjust down to a lying position and the canopy opens up with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mum or dad.

If you're planning short jogs or a longer hike, the Runner will be there to accompany you on all your adventures with a comfortable, flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee smooth, safe ride. The front 3 wheel double buggy can be locked for more stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller can also be folded up to fit into car boot spaces and storage spaces.

Some parents have reported that the Runner 2 to be a bit harder to navigate than its predecessor, and the locking system isn't as user-friendly (requiring two buttons on either side of the push bar). It's their latest and the most expensive addition to their bargain lightweight stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat-compatible, so you can use it from the time of birth.

The new Pace has some amazing design elements, like the rose gold hue to the hood, chassis and stroller trims to truly distinguish it from its competition. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are super elegant and there is the option of adding an coordinating leather cover handle and bumper bar as well.

The stroller seat can be used from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg. It can easily be converted into a 2-in-1 reversible position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has various lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.

What's more, when it's folded, the Pace measures 56 32 x 43 cm which means it passes for hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other airlines. It's also easy to collapse, with two buttons on either side of the handlebar which just click in and pop up.

I tested it alongside my two kids - one a toddler and another eight week old - over the rocky roads as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.

The puncture-proof wheels are big in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - therefore they are able to handle many different terrains. They also have a handy flap that opens or closes to allow more air to circulate when you require it and is a nice touch. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set up, and it took the same amount of time to transform it into an actual seat.
