Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A specific item can be used to develop specific Pokemon. The upgrade is obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize during Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools in order to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the type of item.

Various upgrade components are available, each of which offers an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, are able to be used with any kind of equipment, and offer smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, and enrichments can be utilized on certain ascended back equipment. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item upgrader mod, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and put back in.

Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item, while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia could change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters, as well as regular glyphs like em dashes, en dashes, registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. It also has up to four secondary stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the item you have selected. You can only apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon or jewelry piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be upgraded through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will earn. Once a Glyph is at level 15, it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a glyph has been leveled up to the desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and will also boost other nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and that is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, might offer dual benefits if certain conditions are fulfilled, so they're worth looking out for too.

If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of perspectives. Each view will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further by selecting an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling
