The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using a specialized app to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum cleaner, so it naturally comes with features. It can sweep and mop in one session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pets plants, small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also comes with an automatic vacuum and mop mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.

Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it started to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tried.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. The number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line mop and robot vacuum. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability, best robotic mop and vacuum as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well throughout the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on all types of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately also require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. For those who are on a budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find but its high cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you choose this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning robot mop and vacuum solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized manner. The 'Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

This device has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot vacuums that mop. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help this robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
