WoW Upgrades - The item level upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the item level, but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from NPCs of item upgraders for a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will show a preview of the item when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.
